Fe基预合金粉含量对无压烧结金刚石绳锯串珠胎体的烧结性能影响

Effect of Fe based-pre-alloyed powder content on the pressless sintering behavior of the diamond wire saw bead matrix

  • 摘要: 为更好推动预合金粉在无压烧结金刚石绳锯串珠中的应用,利用Fe基预合金粉替代纯Fe粉,进行金刚石串珠胎体无压烧结实验。首先根据金刚石串珠胎体基础配方,利用预合金粉替代部分Fe粉,设计了六种配方,然后对六种配方进行了无压烧结实验,对每种配方烧结体的力学性能、微观形貌及烧结体对金刚石颗粒的把持情况进行了系统分析。结果表明:随着Fe基预合金粉含量的增加,烧结试样的三点抗弯强度、硬度等先减小,然后又增加,强度损失率则先减小又变大。在Fe基预合金粉含量为60wt%时烧结体具有较好的综合性能,此时烧结体的三点抗弯强度1800 MPa左右,硬度值为108 HRB,并且具有合理的强度损失率26.5%。SEM及EDS分析表明六种配方试样的烧结质量均较好,断口相对致密,没有明显裂纹及空隙,试样内部形成了明显的Fe富集区和Cu富集区。SEM分析也表明该预合金粉配方体系无压烧结时粉末对金刚石颗粒具有较好的粘附性能,但试样对金刚石的把持仍以机械包镶为主。

     

    Abstract: To promote the application of pre-alloyed powders in pressureless sintered diamond wire saw beads, Fe-based pre-alloyed powder was employed to substitute pure Fe powder in the matrix. Firstly, six formulations were designed by adjusting the content of pre-alloyed powder and Fe powder based on the original bead formulation. Subsequently, the mechanical properties, microstructural evolution, and diamond retention capability were systematically investigated based on pressureless sintering experiments. The results show that as the Fe based pre-alloyed powder content increases, the three-point bending strength and hardness of the sintered specimens initially decrease and then increase, whereas the strength loss rate exhibits an opposite trend. Optimal comprehensive performance is achieved at a pre-alloyed powder content of 60 wt%, where the sintered matrix exhibits a three-point bending strength of approximately 1800 MPa, a hardness of 108 HRB, and a strength loss rate of 26.5%. SEM and EDS analyses reveal that all six formulations achieve good sintering quality, with relatively dense fracture surfaces free from obvious cracks or voids. Both Fe and Cu-rich regions are observed within the matrix. Furthermore, SEM observations indicate that the pre-alloyed powder exhibits good adhesion to diamond particles during pressureless sintering, however, diamond retention remains predominantly mechanical in nature.
