INVESTIGATION ON ADDITION OF RARE-EARTH ELEMENT IN YGR8 CEMENTED CARBIDE DRAWING DIE

  • 摘要: 添加微量稀土添加剂制取的YGR8新牌号合金的抗弯强度、冲击韧性提高10%以上。含稀土的YGR8拉丝模的使用寿命比不含稀土的YG8拉丝模提高1倍左右。利用电子探针、能谱仪、X射线衍射分析等手段对YGR8合金做了显微结构分析,阐述了稀土强化YG8合金的作用机理。
    Abstract: The transverse rupture strength and impact toughness of a new type of YGRS cemented carbide made by adding a small amount of rare-earth additives has increased by more than 10% and the working life of the YGRS cemented carbide drawins die is about two times as long as traditional YGS drawing die. EMPA, EDS and X-ray diffraction have been used to analyze the microstructure of YGRS alloy and to explain the strengthening mechanism of rare-earth element to YGS alloy.
