Abstract:
TZM alloy is a commercial molybdenum alloy with superior properties which is widely used at present. The paper outlines the mechanical properties at ambient temperature and 1000-1400℃, stress rupture properties at 1100℃ and 1200℃, bending ductile-to-brittle transition temperature, cup drawing data and recrystallization behaviour of the P/M TZM alloy sheets, with a thickness of 0.5mm, especially used for heat shield in HIPing equipment and ceramic powerful electron tube. The structure features and their relation with mechanical properties are also briefly described, Besides, the effects of the condition and orientations of samples on properties are briefly investigated.
