电火花烧结技术及应用

ELECTRIC SPARK SINTERING TECHNIQUE AND ITS APPLICATIONS

  • 摘要: 电火花烧结是近代粉末冶金新技术之一。钢铁研究总院于1979年建成投产国内第一台电火花烧结机。本文叙述了电火花烧结技术,指明它由轻压跟踪-放电活化、重压成形-热塑变致密化两个阶段构成。在放电活化阶段,由于粉末颗粒表面产生微放电,可使它出现一些在通常烧结中根本不出现或难以出现的有利于快速烧结的效应,而维持微放电产生的必要条件是轻压跟踪,本文对此作了较详细的论述。同时,本文从作者近年研究开发的多种电火花烧结新材料、新产品中,以烧结铜粉含氧量的变化,铜-钛二组元系的烧结,金刚石烧结强度的变化、高石墨铁基材料的烧结、硬质合金的烧结等为例,简述了电火花烧结在粉末冶金中的应用。

     

    Abstract: Electric spark sintering is one of new techniques in powder metallurgy.Central Iron and Steel Research Institute (CISRI) built the first electric spark sintering machine in China in 1979 and put it into production. The paper describes electric spark sintering technique and illustrates that it consists of two processes, i. e. light pressing. and follow-up (spark and activation), and forming by heavy pressing. (hot plastic deformation and densification). In the stage of spark and activation, with the micro-spark produced on the surface of powder particle,some effects in favour of high speed sintering which cannot occure at all or are difficult to happen in normal sintering were presented. Hovever, the necessary condition for keeping micro-spark is light pressing and follow-up. The paper gives rather detail description about it. Furthermore, the authors introduce examples of various electric spark sintered new materials, and products developed in recent years, such as the changes of oxygen contents in sintere pper powder, the sintering of copper-titanium components system, the changes of strength of sintered diamond, the sintering of iron base materials with high graphite contents and the sintering of cemented carbides. The wide applications of electric spark sintering in powder metallurgy have been briefly outlined.
