Abstract:
The superconductivity of the samples of Bi
2-xPb
xSr
2Ca
2Cu
3O
2 and Bi
1.6Pb
0.4-x-ySb
xSn
ySr
2Ca
2Cu
3O
2 system compounds was studied. The high temperature Superconducting phase of Bi
1.6Pb
0.4Sr
2Ca
2Cu
3O
2 with T
co=107K and of Bi
1.6Pb
0.35Sb
0.05Sr
2Ca
2Cu
3O
2 with T
co=110K has been prepared in a shorter time of sintering. The structure of Bi series superconductors has two phases in which XRD pattern can be indexed by tetragonal lattice with a=b=5.408Å, c=30.74Å for 85K phase and orthorhombic lattice with a=b=5.408Å, b=5.336Å, c=37.10Å for 110K phase.
