Abstract: The paper has briefly described the main situation of rare-earth permagnet material industry in Shanghai,reviewed the applications and developments of rare-earth permagnet motors (putting emphasis on neodymium-iron-boron) in shanghai during Seventh-Five Year Plan period and introduced the progress and industrialization situation during Eight-Five Year Plan Period.
