EFFECT OF Na2B4O7 ON COMPRESSION-SHEARING STRENGTH OF CERAMIC-LINED PIPES PRODUCED BY CENTRIFUGAL-SHS PROCESS

  • 摘要: 研究了Na2B4O7添加剂对Fe2O3+Al体系离心SHS陶瓷内衬钢管压剪强度的影响。结果表明,添加Na2B4O7后,Al2O3和Fe两相之间的界面张力降低,导致Al2O3和Fe两相在离心力作用下分离不彻底和润湿性改善,结果陶瓷衬管的压剪强度显著提高
    Abstract: The effect of Na2B4O7 additive on compression-shearing strength of ceramic-lined pipe produced by centrifugal-SHS process is studied. It is showed that the interfacial tension between Al2O3 and Fe drops with Na2B4O7 as an additive. Accordingly, Al2O3 and Fe separate deficiently under the limited centrifugal force. Besides, the wettability between Al2O3 and Fe is improved. As a result, the compression-shearing strength is improved markedly.
