Abstract: Four kinds of processes which are crystal phase transformation, emulsion technology, hydrolysis of aerosol and homogeneous precipitation from solutions for the preparation of dispersive spherical Al₂O₃ and aluminum hydroxide powder have been reviewed. A new idea to modify microemulsion is further reported.
