Abstract: In this paper, the principles and the main processing of new methods for preparation of ferrite powders are discussed, including self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, low-temperature combustion synthesis, mechanochemical synthesis, hydrothermal synthesis, freeze drying and supercritical fluid drying.
