Abstract: The structures and design of different kinds of sintering furnace for the production of powder metallurgy mechanical parts,such as the furnace components, transportation styles and mechanism the function of different heating zones and protective atmosphere are introduced. Besides these the characteristics of walking beam sintering furnace are described in details and some of the latest new technology developments are reported briefly.
