Abstract:
Combined sintering between sintered alloy with the composition of chromium wear-resistant casting iron and 45 steel has been studed. It has bee found that relatively high density and crushing strength can be obtainde by adding alloying elements of carbon, phosphor, boron, etc. into Fe-5Cr-2Cu-1Ni-1Mo alloy powder followed by compacting and vacuum sintering at 1120℃ as a result of the strenthening effects of carbon, phosphor and boron multiple elements. The alloying system exhibits superior property of combined sintering with 45 steel. Because of diffusion displacement interface of both has metallurgical binding. The binding strength between sintered alloy and 45 steel by adding 3.5% graphite, 0.1% boron and 10% chromium is 450MPa.
