Abstract:
The present paper has studied liquid sintering processes of Fe-Gu, WC-Cu and W-Ni-Cu alloys under the effects of alternating magnetic-fields. The results shout that the alternating magnetic-field exerts influence in different degrees on the densification dynamics of liquid phase sintering of Fe-22Cu, Fe-35Cu and WC-40Cu alloys in initial stage and on the evolution of microstructures during liquid phase sintering of Fe-Cu, WC-Cu and W-Ni-Cu alloys. These phonomena are analysed and discussed by taking advantages of principles of mutual effects between electricity and magnetism and the theory of liquid phase sintering.
