Research progress on structure and properties of chambersite

  • Chambersite is a rare manganese-chloride-borate mineral with many potential applications, China is the only country that possesses the chambersite deposits in the world at present. Therefore, it has the great theoretical and practical significance to develop and utilize this natural mineral, synthetic the nano-Mn3B7O13Cl, and study its application performance. The research progress of chambersite on the microstructure, photoluminescence properties, electromagnetic properties, and friction and wear properties is reviewed in this paper for the first time to provide a theoretical basis for the further development and application of chambersite.
