Abstract
Instead of the mechanical processing technology, the high quality ABS induction gear ring parts were manufactured by powder metallurgy technology through studying the product structure, optimizing the material constitute, and controlling the mold design, thermoforming, high temperature sintering, precision shaping, and Dacromet technology. The mechanical properties of the ABS powder metallurgy induction gear ring were tested. In the results, the Fe-0.8Ni-3Co-0.2P ABS powder metallurgy induction gear ring products show the density of 7.15 g·cm-3, the surface hardness of HRB 55, the tensile strength of 421 MPa, the saturation flux density of 1.12 T, and no corrosion for 240 h in the neutral salt spray test. The performance index of ABS powder metallurgy induction gear ring fully meets the application requirements of the new energy vehicles, showing the good operation effect.
