Research situation for Al-based sintered oil-bearing

  • The development and research status of Al-based sintered oil-bearing were summarized in this paper, the difficulties and optimization were discussed on the preparation of Al-based sintered oil-bearing, and the development direction of Al-based sintered oil-bearing was prospected. The results show that, it can promote the sintering of aluminum alloy powders by the appropriate sintering process, and it can effectively improve the strength of Al-based sintered oil-bearing by doping the appropriate alloying elements to form the strengthening phase. The Al-based sintered oil-bearing for the practical engineering application can be obtained by using aluminium alloy powders in different components, optimizing the sintering process parameters, and selecting the appropriate sintering atmosphere. In addition, improving the wear resistance of the sintered oil-bearing and developing the lightweight sintered oil-bearing are also the important development directions for the future sintered oil-bearing.
