POWDER METALLURGY INJECTION MOULDING

The present paper has described the process and characteristics of P/M injection moulding, the technical requirements of each step, the brief status, equipment and technologies of various manufacturers, economics and application ranges, meanwhile outlined the applications of liquid sintering and high temperature pressure sintering, the combination with HIP and the progress in selecting the new type of binders. Finally, some opinions are given on the development of this technology.
