INFLUENCE OF CHARACTERISTICS OF RAPIDLY SOLIDIFIED ALUMINIUM-LITHIUM ALLOY POWDER ON PROPERTIES AND STRUCTURE OF ITS EXTRUDED MATERIALS

A kind of rapid solidification device was used for developing Al-2. 5Li-1. 6Cu-1. 2Mg-0. 2 Zr alloy powder and alloy. The characteristics of alloy powder and their influence on the microstructure and mechanical properties of rapidly solidified aluminium-lithium alloy have been investigated.Such kind of rapidly solidified alumium-lithium alloy by using foil-shaped powder has superior strong platicity synthetic mechanical properties.
