A STUDY OF STRENGTHENING DIAMOND TOOL MATERIALS BY RARE EARTHS

In this paper,the distribution condition of rare earths in diamond tool materials and its effect on mechanical properties of the metal matrix and diamond composites were investigated, besides, the mechanism of rare earths strengthening diamond tool materials was discussed.
