Abstract
The paper has studied the influence of deluent contents,kinds of reactents (black carbon or graphite),particle size of medal reductants and composition of carbon on the speed and temperature and the phase composition of combustion reaction during the process of SHS synthesis of WC-Al2O3 compound ceramic materials. The results show that when the WC-Al2O3 composite ceramic materials are prepared by SHS,the formation and vaporization of gaseous phase products are the important factors influencing reaction parameters and composition of synthetical product Phase. By changing the reactant mixture ratio the relative content of the products WC,W2C and W,can be effectively abjusted.
