APPLICATION OF P/M STRUCTURAL MATERIALS IN AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY

This paper outlines the research and development of P/M materials made from rapidly solidified powders, with more emphasis on P/M superalloys for aeroengine and light metal alloys for airframe, and illustrates the application of P/M parts in gas turbine engine and aircraft.
