CONTENT CHANGE OF INCLUSIONS Fe,Co AND Ni DURING BALL MILLING PROCESS INVESTIGATED BY FLAME ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTRUM

  • It is known from the content change of inclusions Fe, Co and Ni during ball milling in the manufacture of hard alloy mixtures and carbides determined flame atomic absorption spectrum method (FAAS) that in case of using hard alloy ball milling cylinder and balls, the increment content of Co is 3~7 times that of Fe. The increment content of Fe is 0.1%~0.4% in case of using stainless steel ball milling cylinder. During crushing of carbides, if stainless steel ball milling cylinder and hard alloy balls are used and milling time is over 48h, the increments are as follows:Fe>0.1%, Co>0.2%, Ni>0.1%.
