STUDY OF LOW PRESSURE GAS ATOMIZATION TECHNOLOGY OF ALOMINIUM ALLOY

  • On the basis of the principle of gas dynamics and the mechanism of atomization, and by using the self-designed atomization equipment with confined type nozzle, a study of the influence of technological parameters on the results of atomized aluminum alloy in case of lower pressure atomization medium has been made. The results show that in case of nitrogen as atomization medium, its pressure of 1.0 MPa, temperature of alloy liquid at 780 ℃, and rate of liquid flow at 0.8kg/min, the atomization results as required by spray deposition can be obtained.
