Abstract
Several different processes of cold pressing and sintering, repressing and resintering, Secondary repressing and resintering and hot pressing were respectively adopted for manufacturing short carbon fiber reinforced copper-lead alloy (copper-lead-carbon fiber) composite haring materials. The results show that the influence of manufacturing process on the properties of carbon fiber cormposite materials is more obvious than on that of traditional P/M materials. The presence of carbon fiber has set a special technological requirement for the manufacture of composite materials. The traditional P/M process can not be wilful to manufacture fiber composite materials.
