Abstract
Fine ferrophosphorus powders have been produced through corrosion milling method. And warm compaction of domestic iron powders with addition of fine ferrophosphorus was carried out. It has been found that corrosion-milling method is effective for crashing of coarse ferrophosphorus. Fine powders with particle size of 11μm can be obtained after 36 hours milling. The green densities of Wuhan iron powclers mixed with fine ferrophosphorus powders can be increased through no binder warm compaction processing. Fine ferrophosphorus powders enhanced sintering densification more significanty than do coarse ferrophosphorus powders. Pores became smaller and rounder.
