INVESTIGATION ON ZINC HEAT EROSION PROCESS FOR RECYCLING CEMENTED CARBIDE

  • The erosion kinetics curves of zinc-heat erosion cobalt and cemented carbide(YG8), dezincification kinetics curves and the eroded products and structure are measured. The mechanisms and process parameters of zinc-heat erosion process for recycling cemented carbide are outlined.The temperature of zinc-heat erosion for cemented carbide is normally in a range of 750-900℃ and dezincification temperature is preferably below 850℃.The result of dezincification with vacuum is better than that of dezincification with flowing hydrogen.
