LABORATORY-SCALE HIP EQUIPMENT

Laboratory-scale HIP equipment is an essential means for studying HIP technology. This paper describes the necessity and feasibility for studying HIP densification mechanism, designing and optimizing process parameters and capsules using this equipment. The paper further explains that some parts in certain size and many kinds of materials can be produced by laboratory-scale HIP equipment.
