  • The qualities of iron powder produced in our country are lewer than those of international advanced level, confining the application range of iron powder and affecting the development of powder metallurgy iron Pased products.
The results of The Second Reduction process of Iron powder based on practice for three years and its process route are discussed. Results showed that the qualities of iron powder strictly handled by using second reduction technology were remarkably improved when compared with those of conventional process and the application range was also further, widened promoting the development of P/M iron based products and increasing economic efficiency.
