PREPARATION AND STRUCTURE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR IN BiPbSbSnSrCaCuO COMPOUNDS

The superconductivity of the samples of Bi_2-xPb_xSr₂Ca₂Cu₃O₂ and Bi_1.6Pb_0.4-x-ySb_xSn_ySr₂Ca₂Cu₃O₂ system compounds was studied. The high temperature Superconducting phase of Bi_1.6Pb_0.4Sr₂Ca₂Cu₃O₂ with T_co=107K and of Bi_1.6Pb_0.35Sb_0.05Sr₂Ca₂Cu₃O₂ with T_co=110K has been prepared in a shorter time of sintering. The structure of Bi series superconductors has two phases in which XRD pattern can be indexed by tetragonal lattice with a=b=5.408Å, c=30.74Å for 85K phase and orthorhombic lattice with a=b=5.408Å, b=5.336Å, c=37.10Å for 110K phase.
