APPLICATION OF HIP TECHNOLOGY FOR STEEL-BONDED CARBIDE

More Information
  • To solve the problems of producing big size and irregular shape products and to improve their properties an experimontal research has been made by HIP technology for producing steel-bonded carbide. The recommended technological parameters of HIP obtained by orthogonal design are as follows: pressure 83Mpa, temperature 1140℃ and holding time 4. hours. In comparison with tranditional technologies, the density and hardness of products made by CIP, vacuum pre-heating, HIP and post forging were improved and the bending strength of these products increases by a factor of 18%.
