AN INQUICY INTO EXTRUSION FORMING PROCESS OF TUNGSTEN SKELETON

This paper has described the extrusion forming process of tungsten skeleton including the selection of raw materials, mixing wax amount and method,extrusion temperature and speed, dewaxing, presintering, etc. according to experiments and batch production practices. The alloy materials with hish physical properties can be.obtained by copper- and silver-infiltration of tungsten skeleton produced by extrusion forming. This process has high productivity and constant quality, and shows broad prospects in the commercial production of tungsten-based products.
