APPLICATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR COATED POWDER USED IN PRODUCING SILVER BASE CONTACT MATERIALS

The present paper has described the characteristics and experimental processes. The Survice life of Ag-Fe₇ contacts produced by new technology has been over 1.2 million cycles when they were used in CJ10-40 DC contacts.Various property tests for Ag-WC₁₂-C₃ contacts were passed when they were used in DZ₁₀-100 air switch. Besides, the new technology is suitable for the products of Ag-C, Ag-Ni and other series. At present, attempts are being made to expand its use in the field of silyeroxide series.
