  • Chemical composite coating of Nickel-Phsophorus-ceramic (Ni-P-ceramic) followed by heat treatment has been adopted for the surface strengthening P/M dids. The hardness of coating surface can reach HV1100~1400. This coating process is especially suitable for dies with complicated contour. The paper has introduced the coating technology and post-treatment of coating surface.
