INFLUENCE OF PROCESS PARAMETERS ON COMBUSTION COURSE IN Ti-C-Ni SYSTEM

  • In this paper, the influence of Ni content on adiabatic temperature of Ti-C-Ni system was studied. The experimental results show that process parameters significantly influence the combustion synthesis procedure of Ti-C-Ni system.The combustion temperature and velocity decrease with Ni content, diluent content and size of Ti particle increase. Ni participates in the exothermic reaction of Ti-C-Ni system. The best relative density of preform is 50%~60%.
