  • On the base of classical electromagnetic theory,the paper has created a mathematical model for electromagnetic wave absorption of multilayer composite materials and analysed the influence of electromagnetic constants (μ, ε and σ), thickness (d) and different combined structures on the microwave reflectivity of multilayer composite materials. The model has given a theoretical account of improving microwave absorption of compeite materials.
