INVESTIGATION ON CORROSION-RESISTANCE OF DOUBLE LINED CERAMIC COMPOSITE PIPES PRODUCED BY GRAVITATIONAL SEPARATION SHS PROCESS

  • In double lined ceramic composite pipes, were prepared by gravitational separation SHS process content and morphology of FeO·Al2O3 spinel phase in second lined ceramics are different from the first one, refused areas composed of Al2O3 matrix and (Al2O3+FeO·Al2O3) eutecticum between two lined ceramics were observed, and crack density of each lined ceramics was reduced. Results of corrosion-resistance for double lined ceramic composite pipes show that corrosion weight-loss rate are reduced below 0.5% and 2.0% respectively compared with 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel and single lined ones.
