PRESENT SITUATION AND LATENT POTENTIALITIES OF P/M SUPERALLOUS

The recent developments in thermal spraying technology have been outlined in this paper. The practical applications of corrosion resistance and wear resistance coating were introduced and the coatings for renovation, thermal barrier and sealing were also described. The up-to-date techniques of thermal spraying, e. g. low voltage plasma spraying, supersonic flame spraying, laser spraying, laser treatment of coatings, nondestructive inspection for coatings were also explained.
