  • The process of directly making the TiNi shape memory pipe coupling from elemental powders was studied.The billet of the pipe coupling,which is fabricated by reactive synthesis and pseudo-HIP,has chemical homogeneity and full density.It was concluded that the changeable limit of the diameter of the pipe coupling is more than 6% and the degree of the memory recovery is more than 80%.
