Making TiNi Shape Memory Pipe Coupling from Eemental Powwders

The process of directly making the TiNi shape memory pipe coupling from elemental powders was studied.The billet of the pipe coupling,which is fabricated by reactive synthesis and pseudo-HIP,has chemical homogeneity and full density.It was concluded that the changeable limit of the diameter of the pipe coupling is more than 6% and the degree of the memory recovery is more than 80%.
