Keys of γ'-Fe₄N Magnetic Powder Preparation

Abstract

Several important influencing factors about iron nitride magnetic powwder in the reducing-nitriding process are discussed.It was detected that the mean particle size and magetic property of γ'-Fe₄N magnetic powder can be cotrolled by ruling the mean particle size of α-FeOOH.The percentage of γ'-Fe₄N magnetic powder can controlled by the ratio of hydrogen and ammonia.
