EFFECTS OF BALL MILLING CONDITIONS ON PARTICLE SIZES OF MECANICALLY ALLOYED POWDER

  • Relations between energy consumption and particle sizes and morphology of powder and technological conditions have been determined by testing. The results have shown that at the initial stage of ball milling process, the quicker the rotation of milling balls, the bigger the particle size will be. At the final stage of ball milling, the particle size decreases with the increasing of specific energy input.
