  • Phase decomposition of 110K phase of Bi-based high-Tc superconducting tape is investigated. A technique for making aligned 80K phase tape is developed through the 110K phase decomposition controlled by heat treatment temperature and heating rate. This technique gives a solution to solve problem of impossibility to fabricate the aligned 80K phase tape using starting 80K phase powders by conventional rolling method.
