  • Powder metallurgical methods for producing titanium-nickel alloy, including sintering and combustion synthesis were reviewed, The near net shape powder sintering process can get microstructure of homogeneous and fine grains, but with poor purity and long production cycle. Combustion synhesis as a special powder metallurgical method, having the merits of both sintering and casting, may become the main producing method, in the near future.
