STUDY AND APPLICATION OF SINTERED IRON-BRONID CONNECTINO ROD BUSHING MATERIALS

The physical and mechanical properties of sintered iron-bronze materials have been studied and the comparison of wear resistance and stand experiments has been made between ironbronze materha and ZQ_Sn 6-6-3 bronze materials. The results show that the mechanical property and wear resistance are superior than those of ZQ_Sn 6-6-3 bronze materials. The paper has discussed the surface machining of sintered iron-bronze connecting rod bushing in diesel engine and the problem of fitting with piston pin.
