  • Cast tungsten carbide composite flame spray welding material is composed of cast tugsten carbide particles and substrate medal as binder. The spray welding layer thus formed influences the quality of spray welding layer due to the flame ablation of cast tungsten particles and dissolving diffusion. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, the flame spray welding method by using preformed compact has been adopted as described in this paper and thus good results have been obtained.Meanwhile, study on the wear resistance of spray welding layer has been made.
