Abstract: A method of plasma sintering by Hollow Cathod Discharge(HCD) was given in this paper and the heating power characteristic was investigated. The results show that power of discharge is related to the dimension of cavity, the voltage of discharge and the pressure of work gas. Under the condition of meeting HCD effect, the smaller the dimension of cavityis aud the pressure of work gas, the higher the discharge voltage.
