Powder Metallurgy Sintering Theory Based on Continous Mechanics

The basic structure and development of powder metallurgy sintering theory, based on continuum mechanics, was reviewed. This paper introduced the fundamental aspects in studying the densification behavior of sintered powders through pure viscosity model, viscoelastic model, viscoplastic model and plastic model.
