  • The characteristics and properties of self-lubricant aluminum-based materials were described. The influence of the oxide contents of copper powder and the addition of silicon and graphite on mechanical properties, anti-friction and wear resistance performance were investigated. The testing results of self-lubricant aluminum-based bearings after they were used for 5000 hours in electrostatic spinning machines are presented. The possibilities for self-lubricant aluminum-based bearings used partly to substitute the self-lubricant bronze-based bearings operated under high speed and light load working conditions are analyzed.
